As a National HVAC Trade Manager at Public Storage, you’ll enjoy a stable office-based environment with minimal travel. This role offers the perfect balance between professional growth and personal wellness. Join our Facilities team to optimize our National HVAC Program and drive strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Get:
- Competitive Pay: $150,000 - $185,000 total compensation.

Your Impact:
- Lead HVAC management for our entire portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Develop and implement HVAC programs to identify asset repair vs. replacement.
- Use data analysis to monitor trends and reduce HVAC issues.
- Conduct field visits to validate major HVAC projects.
- Develop specifications, scopes of work, budgets, and oversee design work.
- Ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements and expedite project approvals.
- Incorporate value engineering principles to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Identify and qualify vendors, negotiate bids, and manage projects from start to finish.
- Standardize processes and procedures for HVAC system management.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with vendors, consultants, and manufacturers.
- Research and recommend HVAC products and specifications.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure service excellence.
- Provide emergency response support for HVAC issues.
- Assist with acquisition due diligence and facilitate property turnovers.
- Communicate proactively with managers and team members.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in HVAC systems management, including 5+ years in consulting roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related fields preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and construction processes.
- Understanding of budgeting principles for HVAC projects.
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
