Property Manager Jobs
We make you the expert. If you enjoy the customer contact of retail, but not the hours, you might find being a self storage property manager the perfect fit for your career goals. Working on-site at Public Storage facilities, you'll manage sales, work with customers, oversee operations, and maintain the facility and its surrounding grounds. Best of all, you'll build a valuable property management experience in the self storage business—but do it with the support of the industry leader.
What it takes. You don't need "property management" experience to fulfill the requirements of this important role. In fact, most of our property managers hail from the retail or restaurant worlds. So, why did they choose Public Storage? Top reasons cited are the great training, regular hours, and no night shifts. But most of all, it's the chance to enjoy an independent, challenging, and rewarding work environment.
As a property manager, you play a key role in our success—and we give you the tools and training you need to grow that success. Every new property manager undergoes 15-days of paid training during which industry experts teach you every aspect of self storage property management.
After that, you’ll be assigned to a facility where you'll find a wide variety of responsibilities that will keep you challenged and interested. Many of our properties house retail stores—which means you'll train and work with a sales staff and greet drop-in customers who may need advice on moving, packing, truck rental, or storage. Property Managers enjoy a quarterly incentive and some of our locations even offer on-site company-paid housing!
