District Manager Careers

The position of Public Storage District Manager is a challenging one, but Matthew knows how rewarding it can be. Since starting in 1995, Matthew has been twice awarded both District Manager of the Year and membership to Public Storage's prestigious President's Circle. Matthew has successfully served several districts including his current responsibilities in the Central San Gabriel Valley area and says that a background in the restaurant industry prepared him for this demanding management position. "My job skills and experience were consistent with the duties here. I like this business, the people, and the benefits. Also, it is constantly changing here and I adapt well to change."

According to Matthew, adaptability is an important quality for District Manager candidates to possess. "We have a very full schedule at Public Storage. The environment is constantly changing with new technology." He says it is important that "Public Storage stays innovative to remain the industry leader."
