Payroll Day!

Finished processing, verifying, and approving payroll and compared actual hours to the budget. We have specific payroll goals to meet, so I manage this closely.

Placed various online orders for office supplies.

Sent out month-end numbers to district. Acknowledged some great performance results at various properties.

Participated in regional conference call, which reviewed district-by-district results. Also reviewed recent audit results around the region and expected follow-up.

Went to a couple of properties in the afternoon to visit my property managers and check on the stores.

While at the property, I spoke to each of the managers about the property performance and we role played different sales situations to ensure that their sales presentation skills were first rate.

When I am at a property, I never pass up the opportunity to coach employees for better sales and overall performance. They seem to appreciate the time I spend with them and I learn more about their strengths and talents.
